Born in a traditional CSI family, he was brought up in the love of God and in His ways. Though he spent his earlier days associated with the parent church, it was during his graduation days that he felt a true anointing of the Holy Spirit in one of conventional meetings in Kerala. Not only was he baptized in water but also in spirit. From then on he developed a passion towards Christ and partly involved in ministry and attached himself to a living church where the Word of God was taught deeply and truly.
After completing his education, he began his career as a teacher in schools in parts of Tamil Nadu and Andra Pradesh before God opened the doors for Him in Ethiopia in 1980. However, wherever he was, he never failed to carry the Word of God to the people around him.
In 1990 he returned to India, before he could join as a teacher in a school, he felt God’s call for doing His ministry. As the result of which, he resigned his position as an English instructor and took up to be a Bible instructor.
In the year 1991, during the Open Air Healing meeting, he was ordained as the Pastor of AFT, Trichy by Rev. Sam P Chelladurai.
While ministering the people, he started feeling even greater desire to serve God and spread the gospel teaching on love, faith etc. Meanwhile, he enrolled himself in the Acts academy of Theological Education, Bangalore for years and earned the degrees M.Div., and M.Th.,; and M.A.,Theology in Jerusalem University, Chennai.
